The Highland Fling

Forres Tennis Club is home to the highly popular annual Highland Fling Tournament which usually takes place annually in September. However, we are taking a break this year pending resurfacing of two of our courts and we look forward to holding the Fling again in 2011.

Club Championships 2010 - 21st to 29th August

The 2010 Club Championships are now in progress!

This year all matches up to and including semi-finals will be organised by the competitors. Please use the Booking Sheets provided on the notice board at the Club.

Finals Day will be held on Sunday 29th August. Finals matches will be timetabled by the tournament organiser, details of which will be provided at the Clubhouse and on the website by Saturday evening - please check these to ensure you are available at the times stated!

Please remember to pay your entry fees to Clive Buckland prior to playing your first match(es)!

Under 10s Round Robin Competition:

Congratulations to the winner Andrew Massie. Worthy runners up were Charlie McCann, Matthew Douglas and Jamie Riddock

Boys Doubles:

In a nail biting First Round match Jack Tregellas & Jack Fraser beat Surya Morton and Aiden Kidd 7-5, 6-4, 12-10. The two Jacks now face Ted Collins and Alan Ironside in the Final on Sunday 29th.
