RED :For under 8’s played with sponge balls on a badminton size court with a low net and small rackets. Emphasis is on co-ordination and movement, working towards LTA awards. Takes place in Forres House from October to March, and sessions outdoors in the summer months, with very low compression balls.

This mirrors the full game, and can be enjoyed equally by the more mature person who is no longer able to cope with a full size court.

ORANGE: Played outside with low compression (low bouncing) tennis balls, and rackets and nets and court to suit the age and size of players. Coaching at the club from May as part of the grass roots scheme.

GREEN: Progression on to the full size court, with training balls. Coaching from May in age groups divided according to ability. Spot competitions
